Over the years, ACWICT has achieved a number of milestones during the implementation of its programs and initiatives. We've focused on improving the livelihoods of disadvantaged and vulnerable women & youth from urban informal settlements and rural setups.

Innovation is our greatest tool.
It has enabled us to achieve some amazing milestones
Designed successful National and County-based youth employment programs that have impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of women and youth.
Developed short, market-driven vocational skills (TVET) training curricula comprising 21 trades/gig areas and 3 mandatory modules (digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and life skills) targeting youth at different levels of transition (primary/high school/tertiary) from education to employment.
Developed a national training curriculum and mentorship strategy/plan for beginners and experienced online workers for the Ajira Digital Program, a national program of the Government of Kenya, Ministry of ICT.
Developed a robust job placements system that ensures that the young people, once trained are placed into jobs, internships, and/or apprenticeships within three months of completing training
Developed a virtual mentorship platform (www.kazinamentor.net) to connect mentors with mentees/participants of our programs for mentorship support
On the research front, ACWICT has undertaken research and mobilized knowledge in order to improve the effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of initiatives/programs targeting young women and youth for improved livelihoods and economic sustainability.
Disseminated research outcomes to provide evidence-based information that is used to improve the design of programs/Initiatives and enhance impact in addressing challenges facing young women and youth
Developed deep connections with communities and a broad range of partners in different sectors including in the development sector, private sector, education sector, and the public sector.
